As an HVAC/R Service Technician (EPA Certified), you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This includes working on rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, rooftop units, and other specialized systems essential to our clients’ operations. The position requires a Universal EPA Certification and the technical ability to address both mechanical and electrical issues within commercial systems.
The technician will be expected to independently manage service calls, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work orders and service documentation. A commitment to ongoing learning and staying up to date with advancements in HVAC/R technology is essential. You will interact directly with customers, providing professional communication and expert advice about repairs, maintenance, and system performance. The position may occasionally require travel to other company branches to support business needs during high demand periods.

HVAC/R Service Technician (EPA Certified) - Summary- Provide expert service, repair, and maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service to a diverse client base
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current industry standards and technology
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment
- Service rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, rooftop units, and related systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance and comprehensive system inspections
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures efficiently and effectively
- Complete accurate service documentation and work orders in a timely manner
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system performance

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC/R, specifically in commercial refrigeration
- Universal EPA Certification required
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, and rooftop units
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage service calls
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
