As an HVAC/R Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including equipment, piping, and associated mechanical components. You will work as part of a two-person installation team, traveling to project sites and collaborating closely with experienced installers and project managers. This role is distinct from service technician positions in that it centers on system installation rather than repair or maintenance calls. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of new construction, remodel, and rebuild projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with all safety and quality standards.

HVAC/R Installation Technician - Summary- Full-time role focused on installing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for new construction, remodel, and rebuild projects

- Install commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including equipment, piping, and related mechanical systems
- Perform pipe fitting, brazing, welding, and equipment replacements as required by project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, project drawings, and installation instructions
- Complete refrigerant piping, pressure testing, evacuation, and system charging in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate effectively with project managers and fellow installers
- Ensure all installations adhere to company quality standards and comply with safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and within established timelines
- Travel regularly to various project sites as needed to support installation activities

- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R installation
- Universal EPA Certification required
- Demonstrated experience installing commercial refrigeration equipment
- Proficiency in pipe fitting, brazing, and welding
- Experience working on new construction, remodel, and rebuild projects in the commercial sector
- Ability to read blueprints, project drawings, and installation specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a two-person installation team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated professional with a passion for building mechanical systems
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
