HVAC Installer (EPA Certified) - Summary- Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, with a primary focus on heat pumps and electrification technologies.
- Remove obsolete gas furnaces and air conditioning equipment, preparing spaces for modern installations.
- Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and company standards.
- Deliver superior customer service and uphold Jetson’s mission of making clean energy accessible.
- Perform complete heat pump system installations, including removal of existing gas and air conditioning units.
- Carry out refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and proper charging per EPA guidelines.
- Prepare installation spaces meticulously to ensure optimal results.
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams for accurate installations and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to all relevant building codes and regulations, ensuring each installation is fully compliant.
- Provide clear communication to customers, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Identify and address quality issues proactively, ensuring high standards are met.
- Maintain clean, organized work vehicles and storage areas.
- Collaborate with peers and engineering teams to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.

- Proven experience in residential HVAC installation, including working in confined or physically demanding environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required or in progress).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
- Knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirements.
- Strong refrigerant handling skills: recovery, evacuation, and charging.
- Meticulous attention to quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to manage heavy equipment and varied work environments.
- Experience with heat pumps or mini-splits is a plus (training available).
- Compliance with OSHA Electrical Standard and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
