As a Healthcare Account Manager, you will oversee the performance of one or more Federal contracts, ensuring all requirements and deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong client relationships by addressing client concerns quickly and graciously, supporting contract personnel, and collaborating with recruitment and operational teams to staff positions with exceptional healthcare professionals. Your ability to manage large teams across multiple locations and time zones will be critical to your success in this role. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for contract positions, as well as ensuring all credentialing, security, and occupational health requirements are met. You will develop and oversee job requisitions, manage onboarding processes, and maintain thorough documentation for all contract personnel. Your attention to detail will support effective data entry, timesheet tracking, and project information management, contributing to the smooth execution of contracts and outstanding service for our clients.
The Healthcare Account Manager will also provide effective management of supply vendors, conduct regular meetings and site visits to engage with customers and employees, and implement action plans to resolve issues swiftly. You will be expected to provide insightful recommendations for process improvements and support business development efforts within your assigned area. Healthcare Account Manager - Summary- Manage performance and requirements of multiple Federal healthcare contracts
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and personnel management for contract staff
- Strengthen client relationships and address concerns with professionalism
- Develop and implement strategies to meet contract deliverables and staffing needs
- Manage large, diverse teams across various customer locations and time zones
- Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to fill contract positions with healthcare professionals
- Post job requisitions, recruit, interview, and hire staff for healthcare contract roles
- Ensure completion and submission of credentialing, security, and occupational health documentation
- Oversee onboarding processes for all contract personnel
- Track and document personnel management activities and engagement
- Manage relationships with supply vendors and address associated contract issues
- Conduct regular meetings and site visits to maintain engagement with clients and staff
- Respond promptly to service requests and client inquiries
- Develop action plans to address and resolve operational issues
- Maintain detailed records of candidate and contract personnel information, timesheets, and projects
- Provide detailed updates to the Operations Manager regarding projects, client concerns, and staffing

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project or account management (healthcare industry preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related technical field, or an Associate degree plus 5 additional years of relevant experience
- Experience managing Federal contracts preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in hybrid and/or remote settings as needed
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare account or project management
- Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple projects simultaneously
