Duties & Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned land borders and coastal areas to detect and deter unlawful entry and smuggling activities.
- Utilize government vehicles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), vessels, and horses as needed for operational patrols.
- Employ specialized equipment and technology to identify and apprehend individuals attempting to enter or transport contraband unlawfully.
- Conduct search and rescue operations as assigned, ensuring the safety of individuals in distress.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of all enforcement actions and activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs, including paid academy training and specialized skill-building opportunities.
