Gynecologic Surgeon (OB/GYN, MIGS) – Full-Time – Washington, DC
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gynecologic Surgeon (OB/GYN, MIGS) for a full-time position in Washington, DC. This opportunity allows a motivated surgical specialist to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on providing comprehensive care for individuals experiencing chronic pelvic pain, with a strong emphasis on endometriosis surgery and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and surgically treat a range of gynecological conditions, with an emphasis on chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis, using advanced minimally invasive surgical (MIGS) techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including non-operative pelvic pain specialists and integrative nutrition and health coaches, to provide holistic care for patients.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver safe, effective, and comfortable surgical solutions that improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in patient education and counseling, ensuring individuals understand their treatment options and postoperative care requirements.
- Participate in the promotion and representation of the practice through an active social media presence, serving as a public face for the group’s mission and services.
- Practice in accordance with all applicable medical, ethical, and legal standards, maintaining accurate documentation and patient records.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Completion of a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS).
- Active and current state medical license for Washington, DC.
- DEA registration as required by state and federal regulations.
- Three or more years of experience in gynecologic surgery, with demonstrated expertise in non-robotic endometriosis surgery.
- Comfort and professionalism in engaging with patients and the community via social media platforms.
