General Manager Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee operations for a new and innovative bar entertainment concept. As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling this unique entertainment venue, focused on redefining the leisure experience for guests of all ages. This position is a full-time opportunity, offering involvement in every aspect of business development, team leadership, and operational management. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of store operations for the new bar entertainment venue, ensuring a successful launch and ongoing success.
- Oversee daily procedures, including opening, closing, and peak business periods, especially during evenings and weekends.
- Uphold and enforce standards for exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.
- Set clear team expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and mentor staff to maximize individual and team success.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), sales, labor costs, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Collaborate with the headquarters team on market research, site evaluation, and the strategic development of future locations.
- Develop and execute business strategies to ensure operational excellence and drive growth within the Los Angeles, CA market.
- Coordinate with international leadership to align local practices with the brand's vision and standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in opening and operating customer-facing locations, with a strong focus on service and operational excellence.
- Flexible availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a high-energy, fast-paced, and startup-like environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching new businesses or locations in the U.S. market.
- Background in karaoke, food and beverage, nightlife, or similar entertainment venues.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, profit and loss (P&L), and operational performance metrics.
Additional Information
- Training: Comprehensive onboarding and training program, including 1-3 months of out-of-country training to immerse you in the brand's culture and standards.
- Travel: Occasional travel required for new site exploration and company events.
