QA Analyst – Game UI Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Analyst – Game UI to join our remote quality assurance team. As a QA Analyst – Game UI, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the user interface and overall user experience of our gaming applications across multiple platforms. This full-time position is based out of Santa Ana, CA, and offers a flexible and collaborative environment for individuals passionate about digital product quality and innovation.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing for game interfaces on both mobile and web platforms, ensuring that user interactions are seamless and intuitive.
- Document software bugs, glitches, and usability pain points with clear and detailed descriptions, including steps to reproduce and relevant screenshots or recordings as needed.
- Work closely with development and design teams to communicate issues, share observations, and provide actionable feedback that supports continuous improvement in user experience.
- Verify that all software features perform correctly across a variety of devices, operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes to guarantee cross-platform compatibility and accessibility.
- Prepare and submit thorough daily or weekly reports summarizing test results, key findings, and recommendations for enhancements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured testing instructions and processes.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote working tools, including communication platforms, bug tracking software, and collaborative documentation systems.
- Familiarity with app ecosystems and user interface standards for both mobile and web applications.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred and highly valued for this role.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device, enabling effective participation in remote QA activities.
