As a Full Stack Java Developer (React, Java), you will play a core role in delivering critical software solutions that support the organization's claims connect project. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications, primarily using React, Java, and related frameworks.
- Work closely on the claims connect project, focusing on enhancing web-based claim editing features and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals efficiently, leveraging both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and the implementation of best practices for software development and deployment.
- Utilize tools such as Jenkins for deployments and adopt modern web/UI development practices including Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, and Jest.
- Implement and maintain client-side templating using tools such as mustache.js, handlebars.js, panni.js, and dust.js.
- Ensure code quality and documentation meet organizational and industry standards.
- Adapt quickly to changing requirements and technologies in a dynamic work environment.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, manage responsibilities independently, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Java Developer, with a strong emphasis on React development.
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages, including React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and Java.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with MERN and MEAN scaffolding tools and database management, including MongoDB.
- Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation, client-side validation, and modern JavaScript libraries such as Redux and jQuery.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Experience using debugging tools such as Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, and CA/EZTEST.
- Experience with responsive grid systems for mobile and web design is advantageous.
- High critical thinking skills and the ability to propose solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and experience with Foundation is a plus.
- Ability to learn from feedback, adapt to new challenges, and work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
