Forklift Operator - Summary- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials safely within warehouse and production facilities.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, supplying production lines, and supporting general warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and assisting with inventory as needed.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Support a clean and safe work environment by maintaining equipment and reporting any hazards.
- Provide professional customer service and foster a cooperative team atmosphere.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability, including the willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Pass a forklift written and practical certification test as part of the employment process.
