Food Service Worker - Summary- Essential role in food preparation, service, and sanitation within a large-scale kitchen operation.

- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods to accommodate both regular and modified diets, ensuring meal quality and portion control.
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, mixers, slicers, and food processors, as well as utilize sharp utensils safely.
- Set up serving lines, portion meals for trays and cafeteria service, and accurately follow meal service schedules.
- Maintain rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, utensils, fixtures, floors, and food service areas.
- Ensure all food safety protocols and regulatory guidelines are consistently met throughout food preparation and service.
- Walk and stand for extended periods while wearing slip-resistant footwear in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate cash registers and food carts, and occasionally assist with vehicle safety and meal transport as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members, supporting an efficient and respectful workplace culture.
- Competitive starting pay at $13.50 per hour.
- Full-time, 40-hour workweek with available shifts (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM).

- Demonstrated ability to complete assigned kitchen tasks accurately and efficiently within established timeframes.
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift up to 40 lbs. independently (and up to 75 lbs. with assistance), push, and stand for prolonged periods.
- Comfortable working in an environment with hot equipment, repetitive motion, and wet or slippery floors.
- Willingness to work a rotating weekend schedule (two weekends on, one weekend off).
- Compliance with safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
