Key Responsibilities- Start your career by working as a financial professional, providing New York Life’s diverse range of financial products and services to clients.
- Develop expertise in marketing, business development, and customer relationship management with comprehensive support and resources from New York Life.
- Utilize digital sales, prospecting, and marketing tools to attract and retain clients, including web, social, and email content.
- Learn about New York Life’s robust product suite, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products such as mutual funds through NYLIFE Securities LLC (member of FINRA and SIPC).
- Meet specific sales and client relationship goals during your initial year as a financial professional to qualify for management training.
- After the first year, complete a six-month Associate Partner training program to prepare for a transition into a management role.
- Recruit, mentor, and coach new financial professionals, helping to build and lead a successful team.
- Continue to pursue personal and professional growth opportunities, with potential for advancement to more senior management roles.
- Background in sales, management, entrepreneurship, or related experience is highly valued.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong motivation to positively impact the financial security of clients and communities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to meet licensing requirements, including obtaining securities licenses and FINRA registrations, and affiliating with NYLIFE Securities as a registered representative before offering investment products.
