Financial AdvisorNew York Life is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Financial Advisors. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their financial goals and secure their future. Operating within the financial services industry, Financial Advisors at New York Life utilize a comprehensive suite of solutions and services, including life insurance, annuities, long term care insurance, disability insurance, and investment products offered through our broker-dealer arm NYLIFE Securities LLC (member FINRA and SIPC). Additionally, you may offer non-proprietary products, such as group health insurance, through sponsored marketing agreements.
Responsibilities- Work with individuals, families, and businesses to assess their financial needs and goals.
- Develop customized strategies for wealth management, retirement planning, and risk protection using a wide range of New York Life products and services.
- Educate clients about various financial solutions, including life insurance, annuities, disability insurance, and investment products.
- Stay informed on financial industry trends and regulatory changes to provide up-to-date advice.
- Leverage the expertise of New York Life’s Advanced Planning Group for large and complex case design, ensuring clients receive the highest level of support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through New York Life’s industry-leading learning and training programs, including formal continuing education opportunities and peer-driven mentorship programs.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, integrity, and service excellence.
- Operate independently with flexibility, whether from one of New York Life’s offices or a remote location, and choose to market under the New York Life brand or your own business name.
- Comply with all company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.

- No specific certifications are required to begin, but obtaining relevant licenses (such as FINRA Series 6/7, state insurance licenses, or investment advisory registrations) is strongly encouraged and supported by New York Life for career advancement.
