Financial Advisor OverviewThe Financial Advisor (also known as Financial Services Representative or Financial Consultant) plays a key role in supporting clients with their financial planning and investment needs. As a full-time team member, you will leverage your expertise in financial products and services to help individuals and families manage everyday risks and achieve their financial goals. This position requires a strong consultative approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Working as part of a reputable agency, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' financial well-being while expanding your professional knowledge and skill set.
Responsibilities- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about a variety of insurance and financial options.
- Collaborate with the agency team to establish and achieve marketing goals, contributing to business growth and client acquisition.
- Proactively work leads, schedule and conduct client appointments, and identify individual customer needs to recommend suitable products and services.
- Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients, leveraging your knowledge of products and, if applicable, FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses.
- Conduct thorough financial reviews and recommend appropriate solutions to help clients reach their financial objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow up to ensure ongoing satisfaction and relationship development.
- Stay updated on the latest financial products, investment options, and regulatory requirements to provide informed guidance to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to obtain relevant state licenses as required for financial product sales and advisory roles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport and trust with diverse clients.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas is preferred.
- Preference given to candidates holding FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses; support is available for obtaining these certifications if not already held.
