Field Application Engineer (FAE) - Summary- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers/venues and internal engineering teams.
- Facilitate the installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of custom hardware and electronics solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and drive continuous improvements.
- Provide on-site and remote support to address customer needs and technical challenges.
- Deliver technical documentation to accelerate installation readiness and support product development cycles.
- Travel to client sites and venues to oversee the deployment and integration of hardware systems.
- Work collaboratively with venue operations and customer engineering teams to ensure successful system installations.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to hardware and system integration.
- Produce quick-turn CAD drawings, mechanical layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical specification documents.
- Provide timely feedback to internal teams to inform ongoing product improvements and iterations.
- Support cross-functional communication across Product, Engineering, Support, and Project Management teams.
- Maintain detailed records of site visits, installations, and technical solutions provided.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Engineer or similar role, with a focus on hardware system integration and support.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Support, and Project Management.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong expertise in hardware support, quality assurance, and engineering disciplines (Mechanical/Electrical).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as required to client venues for installation and support activities.
