Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Family Medicine About the RoleEnoch Healthcare Family Medicine is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals and families. We are currently seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a strong background in family medicine to join our supportive and collaborative team. As a vital member of our healthcare practice, you will contribute to our mission of ensuring optimal health and wellness for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including gathering medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and ordering or interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and manage a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions commonly seen in a family medicine setting.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and other treatments in accordance with current clinical guidelines and state regulations.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Deliver preventive care services, including health education, screenings, and counseling to support patient wellness and disease prevention.
- Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly within electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Maintain a patient-focused approach, ensuring compassionate and culturally competent care for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements in clinical practice operations and patient care processes.
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and active national certification as a PA-C (Physician Assistant-Certified) or FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner).
- Valid state licensure to practice as a PA-C or FNP in the area of family medicine.
- Experience in family medicine, primary care, or a related clinical setting is highly valued; however, new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills appropriate for a family medicine environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaborative, team-based care.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive care.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
