Coastal Family Practice and Acute Care Center, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Provider (MD/DO, PA, APRN) to join our team on a full-time basis in Seacrest, Florida. As a valued member of our family practice clinic, you will play an essential role in delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat a diverse population of primary care patients consistent with high standards of family practice medicine.
- Provide preventative medicine services, including routine health screenings, management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and behavioral health concerns including depression and anxiety.
- Deliver women's healthcare, asthma management, and acute illness care, supporting patients across the lifespan.
- Perform in-office surgical procedures, such as lesion excisions, biopsies, laceration repairs, sebaceous cyst and mole removals, adhering to best practice and safety protocols.
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiology tests, making informed decisions about referrals to specialists as needed for comprehensive patient care.
- Analyze reports, test results, and medical records to accurately diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals and other medications, managing treatment regimens in accordance with current clinical guidelines and patient needs.
- Educate patients about potential side effects of prescribed treatments and ensure up-to-date allergy information before initiating medication or therapy.
- Advise patients on lifestyle modifications and dietary changes to support overall health and address specific medical concerns.
- Maintain meticulous, timely, and legible documentation within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system (Tebra EHR).
- Provide care for patients experiencing hormone deficiencies, including the optimal use of hormone pellet implantation when indicated.
Qualifications
- Proven experience providing primary care in a clinical setting.
- Current, unrestricted Florida Medical License (MD, DO, PA, or APRN as applicable).
- Current Florida DEA License in good standing.
- Board Certification in family medicine or a relevant specialty.
