Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Job OverviewWe are searching for a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team on a full-time or part-time basis. This clinical role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, emphasizing holistic patient care, health promotion, and chronic disease management. The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will be a key contributor to our mission of providing quality medical care and patient education, working alongside a team of professionals committed to improving patient health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver primary care services to patients aged 18 years and older, including conducting thorough physical examinations and medical assessments.
- Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring evidence-based clinical decision-making throughout the care process.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate to support medical assessments and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Provide patient education focused on disease prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management, empowering patients to actively participate in their health care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
- Accurately document patient encounters, maintaining up-to-date and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Current and unrestricted license as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Practice or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Preferred minimum of one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in a primary care setting.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient care management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise clinical judgment, and prioritize tasks in a busy healthcare environment.
- Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish, is considered an asset.
This position is available as either full-time or part-time employment, providing flexibility to accommodate diverse professional needs and career goals. Compensation is based on a percentage of each patient consulted, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
