We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our reputable family practice team. This part-time opportunity (2.5 days per week) offers a collaborative work environment focused on delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on both general family practice and women’s health.
- Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and health screenings to diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective treatment and follow-up.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies, as appropriate for patient care.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with licensure and regulatory guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and the efficiency of the family practice.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in a family practice or women’s health setting is highly valued.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
