Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Position OverviewThe Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) position at Carolina Clinic for Health and Wellness offers an outstanding opportunity for dedicated healthcare professionals seeking to provide comprehensive care in an office-based environment. The FNP will join a collaborative team of physicians, other nurse practitioners, and support staff, working together to deliver high-quality family medicine and internal medicine services to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, fellow Family Nurse Practitioners, and clinical support staff to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, emphasizing patient education, disease prevention, and health promotion strategies.
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in ongoing practice development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner with current and valid certification (FNP required).
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state.
- Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.
