Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FM/OB) Job OverviewOur healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FM/OB) to join our dynamic team in Arizona. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive family medicine services, including prenatal, obstetrical, and postpartum care to patients of all ages in an outpatient clinic environment.
- Perform routine and emergency obstetric procedures, including deliveries, in accordance with current clinical standards and protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to provide coordinated and effective care.
- Educate patients and families on preventive health practices, chronic disease management, and reproductive health options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate actively in quality improvement and practice development initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic performance.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with advancements in family medicine and obstetrics.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM) with additional training or certification in Obstetrics.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain one.
- Demonstrated experience in performing obstetric procedures and managing deliveries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration.
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous improvement in clinical practice.
