Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) - Primary Care About the OpportunityThe Family Health Centers is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) - Primary Care for a full-time position providing outpatient services. This role is ideal for a physician committed to delivering patient-centered, value-based care and contributing to the health and well-being of the Asheville, Arden, and Hominy Valley communities. The Family Health Centers is an independent, physician-led organization known for its innovative approach to family medicine and continued growth throughout the region.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and pharmacy professionals to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
- Utilize patient engagement technologies to enhance communication, care planning, and patient outcomes.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives and support the organization’s strategic growth and quality improvement goals.
- Maintain thorough and accurate electronic health records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to team-based clinical learning.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) in the state of North Carolina.
- Experience in outpatient primary care settings preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering value-based, patient-centered care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
