Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) Position OverviewOptigy, the largest independent primary care group in North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join their innovative hybrid model practice in Albemarle, NC. This full-time, permanent, outpatient-only opportunity is ideal for physicians passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment that blends primary care with urgent care services. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care and urgent care services in an outpatient setting to a diverse patient population.
- Utilize a hybrid care model that integrates both routine family medicine and urgent care, ensuring patients receive timely and high-quality medical attention.
- Participate in a light call schedule, with one week on followed by eight weeks off, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
- Collaborate with fellow physicians and healthcare professionals in a physician-led, independent care setting focused on continuous improvement and best practices.
- Engage in value-based, quality-driven care initiatives that prioritize positive patient outcomes and innovative approaches to healthcare delivery.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license, or eligibility for licensure, in the state of North Carolina.
- Proven ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Interest in working within a hybrid primary care/urgent care model is preferred.
