Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) About the RolePentaHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our well-established, physician-led outpatient practice. This is a full-time opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of ten physicians and one Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), delivering high-quality, value-based care to the community. Our practice utilizes the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with other physicians, CRNPs, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for accurate documentation, patient management, and communication.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education (CME) to maintain clinical competency and licensure.
- Contribute to the practice’s growth and quality improvement efforts, supporting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Participate in practice meetings, peer reviews, and other group activities as required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
- Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice as a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with Epic EMR is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused care in an outpatient setting.
