Family Medicine Physician (FM) / Internal Medicine Physician (IM) – Full-Time, Outpatient Position OverviewOptigy, a physician-owned practice with over 50 years of service, is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (FM) or Internal Medicine Physician (IM) for a full-time, outpatient-only position in coastal Delaware. Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult and/or family populations, focusing on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor ongoing health progress.
- Provide patient education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in minimal on-call responsibilities, ensuring work-life balance for all physicians in the practice.
- Engage in practice-wide quality improvement initiatives and community outreach programs.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Delaware.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to team-based care.
- Private practice/clinic setting with efficient administrative and clinical support to allow physicians to focus on patient care.
