Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity with the largest independent primary care group in North Carolina. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive outpatient care to individuals and families, helping to shape the future of primary care in the region.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including preventive health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions for patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective, coordinated care for all patients.
- Participate in value-based quality programs designed to improve patient outcomes and deliver cost-effective care.
- Utilize a hybrid model combining both primary care and urgent care services as appropriate to meet patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP).
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Family Medicine Physician in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
