Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Full-time Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for a full-time opportunity with a highly successful multi-specialty group. This practice is recognized for delivering innovative, high-quality care and has been serving the community for over 20 years. The Family Medicine Physician role is focused entirely on outpatient primary care, with a collaborative team environment and a supportive leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, managing acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.
- Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and health risk assessments as part of ongoing patient care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate referrals to specialists, and ensure continuity of care for all patients.
- Participate in a rotating night call schedule, with one night on call approximately every 10 days to support patient needs.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
- Engage in value-based quality programs, contributing to the practice’s recognition as a leading provider in these initiatives.
- Document all patient encounters and procedures accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in regular team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility to obtain a license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
