Excavation Apprentice - Summary- Entry-level position focused on learning excavation and underground utility skills
- Work directly with experienced operators and gain hands-on experience in sewer and water line construction

- Support water service replacements and trenchless liner installations
- Prepare and maintain job sites for safe and efficient operations
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Assist with excavation, trench safety, and jobsite cleanup
- Operate excavators and related equipment under supervision
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Learn best practices in underground utility work and specialized trade skills

- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, plumbing, or general labor preferred
- Experience with excavation, skid steers, or trailer towing considered a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physically demanding tasks
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
