Epic Professional Billing Analyst Position OverviewIDR is seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing Analyst to join a leading organization in San Mateo, CA on a Full-time contract-to-hire basis. Key Responsibilities- Lead and participate in all phases of the Epic Professional Billing system implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, build, testing, end-user training, and go-live support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that system configurations align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Configure and customize the Epic Professional Billing application to meet specific business requirements, maintaining compliance with established healthcare standards.
- Utilize Epic tools such as Sherlock, Orion, and Nova to optimize workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance overall system efficiency.
- Provide ongoing Epic user support and resolve complex issues related to Professional Billing processes within the healthcare setting.
- Document workflows, system configurations, and changes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive record of system modifications.
- Participate in organization-wide training efforts and act as a subject matter expert for Epic Professional Billing functionalities.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with Epic Professional Billing systems, including hands-on involvement with Epic implementation and optimization projects.
- Strong proficiency with Epic tools such as Sherlock, Orion, and Nova, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system workflows.
- Current Epic Professional Billing certification is required.
- At least 2 years of information technology support experience in a healthcare operational setting, including a minimum of 6 months providing Epic user support.
