Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing customers in Washington, D.C., providing information and solutions regarding State Farm insurance products, including auto, home, renters, and life insurance.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate insurance coverage.
- Participate in community outreach and attend local events to generate leads and promote State Farm products.
- Assist clients through the insurance application process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics established by the agency.
- Complete training and licensing requirements, with the opportunity to earn your Property and Casualty license within 30 days from home.
- Stay informed about State Farm products, policy changes, and industry best practices to provide top-tier service to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine interest in helping others and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in community events and activities for lead generation and relationship building.
- No previous insurance experience required; training will be provided to the right candidate with the appropriate skill set.
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by the agency and state regulations.
Certifications and Training
