Entry Level Engineer - Summary- Collaborate with experienced professionals to develop and implement advanced engineering solutions for defense and aerospace applications.
- Participate in projects related to counter-UAS systems, sensor integration (EO/IR, RF, Acoustic), hardware design, software and firmware development, and weapon system integration.
- Engage in hands-on work across office, lab, and field environments, gaining exposure to the latest in engineering technology and innovation.

- Conduct IR sensor analysis, simulation, and modeling to support project objectives.
- Design and develop hardware solutions, leveraging CAD tools such as SolidWorks or similar platforms.
- Participate in software and firmware development, including embedded software, user interfaces (ATAK), and various programming languages such as C++, Embedded C, Python, and VHDL/Verilog for FPGAs.
- Contribute to sensor development projects, encompassing EO/IR, RF, and Acoustic technologies.
- Support weapon system integration and related engineering tasks.
- Utilize PCB design tools (e.g., Altium) for electronic design and prototyping.
- Apply Agile development methodologies to engineering projects, ensuring efficiency and adaptability.
- Engage in RF design, modeling, and analysis as required for project deliverables.
- Perform microelectronics testing and analysis to ensure reliability and quality of systems.
- Maintain a high standard of safety, including the ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and perform occasional physical activities such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

- Must be a current student or recent alumni (within 5 years) from an accredited institution, working toward or having completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in at least one area: IR sensor analysis, hardware or software development, sensor technologies, weapon system integration, or related fields.
- Preferred experience in software development using C++, Embedded C, Python, and/or VHDL/Verilog with tools such as AMD Vivado.
- Familiarity with mechanical design (SolidWorks or similar), PCB design (Altium or similar), Agile development, RF design, and microelectronics testing is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and good judgment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs., and meet visual, hearing, and communication requirements for the position.
