IDR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join one of our top clients. This role is pivotal in supporting the design, development, and implementation of our client's new, global Employee Relations (ER) function. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Employee Relations Consultant:
- Develop and refine a comprehensive employee relations strategy in alignment with Legal
- Design the operating model for the ER function, including governance structures, escalation protocols, case management workflow, and reporting metrics
- Develop a roadmap and project plan for the phased rollout of ER services, tools, and communications
- Create and implement policies, procedures, and templates related to investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Conduct a gap analysis of current ER-related practices and make recommendations for improvement
Required Skills for Employee Relations Consultant:
- 10+ years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Capital, or Employment Law
- Demonstrated experience in project management and large-scale transformation projects
- Strong knowledge of employment law, regulatory requirements, and industry trends in ER
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience managing confidential and sensitive issues with discretion, sound judgment, and integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., JD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
- This candidate needs to be location in one of these locations: NY, San Francisco or Boston to be near an office.
