Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Summary- Provide critical care to patients experiencing acute illness, injury, or trauma in an emergency room setting.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to life-threatening situations, delivering immediate and appropriate interventions.
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients according to clinical needs and established protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and rapidly recognize changes in condition, escalating care as necessary.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other nursing staff to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
