Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a full spectrum of emergency medical services consistent with clinical privileges and institutional protocols.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs within the scope of emergency medicine training and experience.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decision-making.
- Initiate appropriate referrals to specialists or other healthcare resources as indicated.
- Deliver preventive health maintenance care, including patient education on positive health behaviors and self-care strategies.
- Participate in the instruction, direction, and mentorship of other healthcare professionals within the clinical setting.
- Conduct educational lectures and contribute to in-service training programs for clinic staff, adhering to established clinical standards.
- Maintain proficiency in emergency medicine best practices through ongoing professional development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support clinical operations and organizational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from a Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved medical school, or equivalent as determined by the Surgeon General.
- Graduate of an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada, or possess education and medical knowledge equivalent to U.S. standards (as demonstrated by ECFMG certification or equivalent credentials for foreign medical graduates).
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license as required.
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent as specified in the Task Order (TO).
- Successful completion of an internship and residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
- At least one year of supervised clinical experience in a hospital or accredited institution, fulfilling internship or the first year of residency requirements.
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in occupational medicine or flight and operational medicine within the past 36 months, as required for clinical competency.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and ability to provide clinical education and staff training.
- Compliance with all institutional, federal, and state regulations governing medical practice.
