Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) Position OverviewOptigy is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician (EM Physician) for a permanent, full-time, onsite opportunity at a premier tertiary care facility in Tulsa, OK. This state-of-the-art healthcare environment serves northeast Oklahoma and neighboring regions, featuring a newly constructed 68,000 sq. ft. Trauma Emergency Center, a separate Pediatric Emergency Center, and an Observation Unit. The facility emphasizes high-acuity patient care, advanced technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration, making it an ideal setting for physicians passionate about emergency medicine and ongoing clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a Level II Trauma Center.
- Deliver care in both adult and pediatric emergency settings, including a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Center with 23 treatment rooms and 24/7 NICU and PICU coverage.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including EM, pediatrics, and family medicine residents, as well as PA students, fostering an academic and teaching-oriented environment.
- Utilize advanced medical technology and systems, such as Epic EMR and an electronic tracking board, to ensure efficient and effective patient management.
- Participate in trauma and critical care delivery, including utilization of trauma bays, critical care rooms, and fast track facilities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and teaching opportunities within the academic setting.
- Work collaboratively with support services including 24/7 hospitalist, OB/GYN, general surgery, and trauma surgery teams.
- Contribute to mass casualty preparedness and response within a facility equipped with convertible trauma areas, decontamination rooms, and rooftop helipads.

- Annual ED volume: 71,000 visits; Pediatric ED volume: 34,000 visits; Observation Unit: 6,000 annually
- Trauma Emergency Center with 4 trauma bays, 12 critical care rooms, and 32 general med monitored rooms (including 4 psych-specific)
- Comprehensive radiology and CT suites, and 2 rooftop helipads
- Epic EMR system for streamlined clinical documentation
