Electrical Maintenance Supervisor - Summary
- Lead and manage daily electrical and mechanical maintenance operations for production machinery and shop facilities.
- Collaborate with the plant manager and other stakeholders to drive preventative maintenance and ensure operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Oversee external contractors and specialized technicians to support complex repairs and installations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical production equipment, including cutting, packaging, and processing machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Manage inventory tracking for maintenance supplies, coordinate parts procurement, and maintain relationships with electrical and mechanical vendors.
- Implement and track preventative maintenance schedules to reduce emergency downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate, oversee, and evaluate the work of external industrial technicians and electrical contractors.
- Support light building maintenance and provide general shop assistance as needed.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
