eCommerce Business Analyst Overview
IDR is seeking a Full-time eCommerce Business Analyst to join one of our top clients in Richardson, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their skills in supporting and enhancing digital commerce platforms within a collaborative, dynamic team environment. As an eCommerce Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical solutions to optimize user experiences and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements to eCommerce platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and IT strategies.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, technical use cases, and actionable tasks, focusing on improving digital commerce processes and systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all technical solutions support long-term business goals and deliver a seamless user experience.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT, facilitating effective communication and understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing and executing validation test cases, identifying issues, and ensuring successful implementation of system enhancements.
- Utilize experience in Agile environments to prioritize and manage project backlogs, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
- Focus on the SAP Hybris eCommerce platform, particularly with B2B solutions, to ensure platform enhancements meet the needs of internal and external users.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of experience working in IT as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in digital commerce platforms.
- At least 5 years of direct business analysis experience with the SAP Hybris eCommerce platform, including a focus on B2B functionalities.
- Proficient in creating, managing, and refining user stories using Epics, and breaking down requirements into actionable technical tasks.
- Skilled in User Acceptance Testing, including the creation and execution of validation tests to ensure project deliverables meet specified requirements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working within Agile project management methodologies.
