Document Control Specialist - Summary
- Manage, review, and organize manufacturing and quality documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare and update Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for internal teams and customers
- Maintain records of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all documentation is current
- Support document configuration, product data management, and change requests
- Provide documentation support and training to internal departments as needed
- Work collaboratively to support multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, maintain, and organize manufacturing and quality documentation in accordance with company and customer standards
- Prepare, update, and manage PPAP documentation, ensuring all files are accurate and compliant
- Audit documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Maintain, update, and distribute Standard Operating Procedures as necessary
- Systematically organize customer-specific documentation and manage records within established systems
- Assist with product and document change requests, ensuring timely and accurate updates
- Provide documentation support and training to internal teams to foster compliance and understanding
- Monitor and maintain documentation systems to ensure accuracy, security, and organization
- Support document configuration and product data management processes
- Contribute to multiple ongoing projects, maintaining a high level of organization and meeting established deadlines

- Previous experience in document control, quality, manufacturing administration, or PPAP processes
- Proficiency in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and procedures
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Microsoft Word
