Accessibility QA Tester Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Accessibility QA Tester to join our remote quality assurance team. Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive accessibility testing scenarios across a wide range of digital content, ensuring platforms align with industry standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Document bugs, glitches, and user experience challenges in a clear and organized manner, highlighting issues that may impede accessibility for users with diverse needs.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to communicate accessibility issues and provide actionable feedback, supporting the creation of inclusive digital products.
- Ensure that all digital products comply with accessibility requirements and recommend improvements to enhance usability for all users.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports outlining findings, recommendations, and progress on accessibility improvements.
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow structured instructions and testing protocols.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration and testing tools, as well as a strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and standards.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred and will be considered an asset for this Accessibility QA Tester position.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for performing remote QA tasks.
