Key Responsibilities- Interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound, to assist referring physicians in patient care management.
- Provide timely and accurate radiologic reports to support clinical decision-making.
- Consult with fellow healthcare team members to discuss case findings and contribute to multidisciplinary care planning.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and best practice standards in diagnostic radiology.
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance initiatives as needed.
- Adapt to varying departmental schedules and call requirements as dictated by site needs.
- Maintain a focus on efficiency and consistency in clinical workflow.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by an accredited national board (such as the American Board of Radiology) is required.
- Active and unrestricted West Virginia medical license required.
- Clean malpractice and background history preferred for expedited credentialing.
- Ability to adapt to diverse clinical settings and schedules.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
