Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Desktop Support Tech:
Serve as the first line of support for client end-users, responding to technical issues via phone, email, and in person
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues on Windows and macOS systems
Image, configure, and deploy devices including laptops (Windows/Mac), desktops, iPads, and other peripherals
Monitor and manage ticket queues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution or escalation
Provide basic printer and mobile device support, manage password resets, and assist with account access issues
Required Skills for Desktop Support Tech:
6 months to 1 year of IT support/help desk experience (internships and freelance work welcome)
Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple issues
Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
