In the role of Delivery Driver (Non-CDL), you will be responsible for transporting linen carts between company facilities and customer locations, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety protocols. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to maintaining a clean driving record and superior customer service standards. The shift for this position is from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, and may include weekends and holidays, providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking second-shift schedules.

Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) - Summary- Operate company vehicles to deliver linen carts to customer sites and return soiled linens to processing facilities.
- Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately, safely, and within scheduled time frames.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to company dress code and appearance standards.
- Complete all required documentation, including pre-trip vehicle inspections, delivery logs, and DOT compliance forms.
- Uphold company policies and safety procedures at all times.
- Load and unload linen carts at company and customer locations, tagging each cart appropriately.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork and logs daily.
- Weigh soiled linens upon return and deliver to designated soil room.
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned and disinfected after each soil pick up.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company equipment and vehicles.
- Turn in daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports as required.
- Follow all safety and universal precaution procedures, particularly when handling soiled materials.
- Report any vehicle mechanical issues promptly to the chief engineer.
- Communicate any customer service concerns or issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
