Delivery Driver - Summary- Responsible for the accurate and timely delivery and pickup of linen carts to and from customer locations.
- Maintain compliance with all company, safety, and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers at all times.
- Uphold the company's values of quality, safety, and service excellence.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Wear the required uniform and maintain a neat, professional appearance each workday.
- Comply with attendance policies and punctuality standards.
- Keep company vehicles and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.
- Report mechanical issues promptly to the chief engineer or designated personnel.
- Follow universal precautions and procedures when handling soiled linens.
- Maintain all required DOT documentation and certifications.
- Report any customer service issues or concerns to management promptly.
- Load and unload linen carts, tagging each cart accurately at both company and customer facilities.
- Complete all required paperwork, logs, and documentation daily.
- Weigh and track soiled linens by customer, delivering them to the appropriate location within the facility.
- Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain hygiene standards.
- Submit a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report every day prior to operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
