SQL Database Developer Position OverviewIDR is actively seeking a skilled SQL Database Developer for a full-time position with a leading organization in Atlanta, GA. This role is designed for professionals who have a strong background in data warehousing, business intelligence, and advanced Microsoft SQL Server technologies. As a SQL Database Developer, you will collaborate closely with a team-oriented group in Atlanta, GA, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of robust database solutions that support the organization’s business intelligence objectives. Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain data warehousing solutions and business intelligence applications to support organizational decision-making.
- Utilize expertise in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or newer for comprehensive business intelligence development and database management.
- Design, build, and optimize ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SQL Virtual Machines to ensure efficient and accurate data integration.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and use SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for effective data management and transformation tasks.
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly Azure Data Warehouse) and Power BI to deliver advanced analytics, data visualization, and reporting solutions.
- Ensure high standards of data integrity, security, and availability across all database solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions in the Atlanta, GA office.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in data warehousing and business intelligence environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business intelligence development using Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or later.
- Advanced skills in T-SQL for database scripting, querying, and optimization.
- Solid experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and the creation of complex stored procedures for data processing.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Azure Data Factory, SQL Virtual Machines, and Power BI for end-to-end data solutions.
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Azure Data Warehouse) is considered beneficial for this SQL Database Developer role.
