Database Architect Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Database Architect for an exciting contract opportunity within a large, collaborative organization. As a Database Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust database architectures that support organizational objectives while ensuring optimal performance and data security. Responsibilities- Analyze the implementation and design of organizational databases to guarantee they are user-friendly, scalable, and secure.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues related to scalability, security, or efficiency to ensure continuous, reliable operations.
- Evaluate existing database designs and recommend improvements that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of data architectures for both operational databases and data warehouses.
- Oversee and review data migrations and conversions, addressing any data processing issues as they arise.
- Support strategy development for data acquisition, archival, recovery, and database implementation to ensure the integrity and availability of critical business data.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Database Architect role, demonstrating expertise in database design, implementation, and optimization.
- Relevant platform-centric certification that showcases technical proficiency and subject matter expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL, enabling advanced data analytics and database management.
- At least 1 year of experience with the Health Catalyst platform, emphasizing familiarity with industry-specific data solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
- Residence on the United States East Coast is required for this contract position.
