The Data Migration Tester plays a pivotal role in supporting critical data conversion and migration initiatives as part of a large-scale public sector modernization program. Data Migration Tester - Summary- Lead the planning and execution of data conversion and migration activities for enterprise-level projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data migration strategies.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and readiness of data through rigorous testing and validation cycles.
- Support the delivery of high-impact public sector modernization initiatives, directly contributing to project success.
- Drive continuous improvement in data conversion processes and outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end data migration and conversion efforts throughout the project lifecycle, including strategy development, planning, and execution.
- Manage and coordinate data extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation activities.

- Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues, defects, dependencies, and risks in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Document and communicate findings, progress, and issues to ensure transparency and alignment across teams.
- Maintain compliance with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements related to data management and security.
- Work closely with technical, business, and leadership teams to ensure all data migration objectives are met on schedule.

- 3-5 years of experience leading enterprise-scale data migration or data conversion projects.
- Demonstrated track record of full lifecycle ownership of data migration activities, from planning through production cutover.
- Strong expertise in data extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
- Experience supporting state or government technology programs or projects highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with proven ability to resolve complex data quality and migration challenges.
