Meridth Lamas - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join its team. This full-time position provides key sales support and exceptional customer service to clients of a well-established State Farm Agent. Working as a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships and ensuring a positive experience for every State Farm Insurance customer.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will respond to client inquiries, assist with policy-related questions, and provide thorough support throughout the customer journey. Your efforts will help maintain and grow our valued client base, working closely with a collaborative team in Savannah, GA. This role offers a dynamic work environment in a city known for its vibrant community and historic charm.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and greet clients with professionalism and warmth.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring timely follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing questions related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based approach to educate clients about available insurance options.
- Support sales processes by collaborating with agency staff to meet customer needs and agency goals.
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
Qualifications
- Sales experience (such as inside/outside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews.
- Capacity to build rapport and relate effectively to customers.
- Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
