Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and greet clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by following up with clients as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about available insurance options and assist them in making informed decisions.
- Support the sales process by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment in the Starkville, MS office.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in roles such as inside sales representative, outside sales, retail sales associate, or telemarketing is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
- Strong assessment skills to identify customer needs and conduct effective client interviews.
- Ability to relate to customers and build meaningful professional relationships.
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Must be able to obtain a Life and Health insurance license.
