Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and warmly greet clients as they visit the office, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment at all times.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, following up with clients as needed to address questions and ensure satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Guide customers through a needs-based review process to educate them about available insurance policies and options, helping them make informed decisions that align with their unique needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with attentive listening skills.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews.
- Ability to build rapport and relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Property and Casualty insurance license (or willingness and ability to obtain one).
- Life and Health insurance license (or willingness and ability to obtain one).
