Customer Service Representative (CSR) Position OverviewThe Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial role in supporting an independent insurance agency's growth and ongoing success. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to clients while assisting with a range of insurance inquiries and administrative tasks. Working as a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will engage with customers daily, providing prompt and accurate responses regarding insurance products, policies, and claims. Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
- Deliver high-quality, friendly, and efficient customer service, including responding to policy inquiries, eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, billing questions, claim submissions, and policy transfers.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based approach to educate clients about suitable insurance coverage options.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a commitment to achieving daily and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive and timely activity reports to the agent to support business operations.
- Remain up-to-date on product changes, licensing requirements, and continuing education to maintain industry knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening abilities.

- Property & Casualty license (or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire).
